What advantages does it have to be a registered user?

Being a registered user will make you have advantages that normal users don't have.

Some of them are:

• Being able to see a list with the people that knows a recipe you're interested in.
• Maintain your own list of known recipes.
• Access to user groups with whom to share recipes and communicate quickly.

How much does it cost to register?

In the PopoQuest Team we're convinced that we ought to help people as much as we can. This would make no sense if our help depends on each person's wealth, and thus it is free to register and it won't take you more than a minute.

What sensitive information will I be asked to give?

Only your e-mail, which we will only use to check that the account is valid. It won't be rented, sold or transferred in any way to a third party.

Can I use the same password as in the game?

Of course you can. However, we don't recommend it. Even though we make efforts in make a safe website, every computing system is vulnerable in some way, and that is why we recommend you to use a different password, for your own safety.

What user name shoud I use?

The one you want! You are totally free to choose your user name (of course you can't use an other person's user name). It won't appear anywhere, and you also have to choose a “public name”, which will be the one that the other users see. Usually your public name will be the same as your name in the game.

Groups

What is a group and what is it for?

A group is a place where you can communicate quickly with other people, and somewhere you can access if you are invited by the people in charge of it. They are an alternative to the “Companies” in the game, as it is free to read the messages there or belong to one.

Besides, the groups are moderated by themseleves. There's a hierarchy (founder, admins., mods. and users) in which the founder and the admins. can invite other users, delete their messages and even ban them from the group if they think they're going against the group's aims.

How many groups can I create?

There's no limit in the number of groups you can create, but three days have to pass between the creation of one before it lets you to create another. However, before creating your own, you might want to join an existing one (created maybe by a friend).

Is there a limit in the number of people in a group?

Currently we're not intending to limit the number of people who can be in a group.
